Auto-DJ is our recommended way to get your stream up and running. Auto-DJ is your own personalized DJ that you control and customize. You will be able to create your own playlists, schedules, and more! Best of all it allows your stream to run 24/7, seamlessly.
Auto-DJ also allows you to connect live with and encoder, which is useful if you want to host live-shows for your users.
Once logged into CentovaCast, Auto-DJ should already be enabled by default. However, in some cases it might not be enabled and you will be required to enable it manually.
You can enable Auto-DJ by going to CentovaCast > Configuration > Settings > Auto-DJ > Permitted and Enabled.
Once Auto-DJ has been enabled, a new "Auto-DJ" section should now be present in CentovaCast's main left block.
Uploading music to Auto-DJ can be done in two methods, we'll go through both below.Uploading through FTP is the most reliable for bigger files, as you are not limited to any browser-specific issues like timeout and speed.
To access CentovaCast's file manager for Auto-DJ, Simply go to CentovaCast > Auto-DJ > Files. From here you can control, create and upload new songs to Auto-DJ directly.
Within the file manager, click on the folder that you would like to upload too (Usually "media") and then click on the "upload" button towards the bottom of the page.
A new upload window will then pop up. Simply click on the "Select Files" button and you can then select files locally to upload to your Auto-DJ directly. Your files will then automatically start uploading to your Auto-DJ.

Uploading your music files or playlists are best done through FTP as it allows for much bigger files to be uploaded with no constraints and limitations that a browser-based file manager would have.
To connect via FTP, you will need an FTP client like Filezilla. You can also use practically any other FTP client of your choice.
Your FTP connection details are basically your CentovaCast's login details. For the example FTP details below we'll assume their CentovaCast username is alex, their password is alexspassword and they are on the cast1.my-control-panel.com server.

Once you have entered your details into your FTP client, simply click connect and you'll be able to upload your music files to a folder of your choice.
Once you have uploaded your music to CentovaCast you will need to configure your playlists for Auto-DJ to recognize and play it. This can be achieved by going to CentovaCast > Auto-DJ > Media.
You should now see CentovaCast's Media Manager page for Auto-DJ. Within this page, simply drag-and-drop songs/albums into your desired playlists. The different types of playlists are listed on the left tab of the page.
After you have uploaded your music to Auto-DJ and added your music to Auto-DJ's playlists, you can now start up Auto-DJ by going to CentovaCast > Auto-DJ > Start.
Your stream should now be running and playing audio from your playlists.
